Who's the Don? Don Ed Hardy is an American tattoo artist born in Iowa in 1945, and raised in Southern California from the age of one. Hardy was the first Western tattoo artist to incorporate Japanese tattoo aesthetic and technique into his work and is an accomplished fine artist, as well. When Christian Audigier, a relatively unknown French designer at the time, met with Ed Hardy in 2004, he licenced Ed Hardy's designs and encapsulated them in time through the form that is fashion! It was from this moment Hollywood had born a new star, Chrsitian Audigier.
